Monday [P]inspiration: DIY Fall Decor!!

Well, HI!!! It's been awhile, but I've decided to re-appear into the blogosphere today and share some great DIY Fall Decorations that I've discovered on Pinterest lately!
[Warning: In an attempt to [over]compensate for my absence lately this post has a TON of fall ideas... don't miss any of them because I love each one!!]

These pumpkins look too perfect to be true... see how using chalk paint transformed regular pumpkins into something out of a magazine!

Have you seen those inexpensive glass pumpkins and thought "hmmm, those are [almost] cute." I always want to buy one, but don't because I'm not sure what to do with it... until now! Use Looking glass spray and turn them into beautiful mercury glass pumpkins!

Aren't these gilded pumpkins too cute?! Check out how to make one for yourself!

Not into pumpkins... well, we've go something for everyone here! These soft, glowing candles were created by wrapping hurricane glasses in layers of colored tissue paper... Wow, so easy!

These natural, rustic log candle holders are another super creative idea that I love! I would want to make a TON of them for a really big impact [but that's just me... and I didn't say I'd actually get it done, I'd just want to ;) ]

I really like this idea because you get to use that old rake that you could never bring yourself to throw away [but you know it doesn't work as well as the new plastic one...]. So cute and creative!

I really like this centerpiece idea. So simple and inexpensive to make, but really beautiful.

Another great candle idea... can you imagine five of these grouped together, so pretty and another simple idea!

Isn't this such a fun, whimsical idea?! I really like that some acorns have been painted to add an unexpected pop of color. Cute!

Here is a different take on pressed leaves! I just love it when the kids bring in beautiful leaves that they "just couldn't pass-up," and this is a great idea to showcase them all season.

Now, we all know that one of the things that makes fall so wonderful is the smell of baked goodness, and here is an awesome way to get that yummy smell anytime. I've done this many times and it really does work: Just boil some water in a pot, then cut up an orange and put it and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon [or a cinnamon stick if you have them] into the water. That's it... you'll have the most wonderful aroma filling your home with the smell of fall in no time!
