Are you afraid to paint your door a bright color [me too!]? This blue door provides a great example of how accessorizing can make a huge difference...it's the yellow accents that make this front porch feel fun so go wild in the details!

I love beautifully painted front doors too. Two things to keep in mind when choosing a front door color are 1) will the color work well with the main color of the house and trim and 2) will it work well with the interior colors especially if the door opens directly into a room (as it does in our home).
ReplyDeleteWhen we moved into our new home, the front door was red both inside and out. It might have worked with their interior color scheme, but it looked horrible with the house's exterior color. It was one of the first things to get repainted as we were getting settled. :-)
