Hey Y'all! I know, I know...
it's been awhile. Sorry I could say why [but it's a bunch of yada-yada-yada] so I'll get right to the good stuff- DIY ideas!! I've pinned some super cool DIY projects from many wonderful blogs lately and thought I'd share them today. Lots of light and airy summer projects today...
Isn't this soooo beautiful!? I will do this someday.... not today, but someday :)
These curtains are scrumptious! I'm pretty sure my daughter will want them, so I can't let her see them until I'm ready to tackle this project...
This DIY project is so great, the end result is stunning so be sure to check it out!

I just love these little framed bud vases! Often the simplest ideas are the best, and this is a great example. Find various frames from thrift stores [or your garage if you're like me...] and purchase various little vases from garage sales [or dig them out of your garage if you're like me...] and you can make a big impact for very little $$.
Pebble floor mat. I've seen this before... but I love it every time. That would just feel wonderful on bare feet, and it's a super easy DIY project.
This is just too cute! 3-D artwork that is adorable, can't you see three or five of these in a group on the wall?! Love it :)
And that's it for now, be sure to follow me on
Pinterest if you want to see what else I'm pinning these days!
I love all of these ideas! I love the lantern and would looove a pebble floor mat! My feet are calling for it!
ReplyDeleteI love them all! I agree about the simpleness of the bud vase idea and it opened me up to thinking about frames in different ways (I have a bunch hanging around, too!) Also, I wanted you to know that I thoroughly enjoy every one of your posts and though you don't post the most frequently yours is one of my favorite blogs I follow...honestly probably my favorite non-food blog (tied with velvet & linen of course!) You really post exactly the kind of content I want to see. Of course I can't speak for other peeps but, you needn't ever apologize for not posting all the time. You rock!
ReplyDeleteThank you so. very. much Mrs Ogg!! I can't even tell you how much I appreciate your words of encouragement :) And I've never been to Velvet & Linen, so of course, I must go check it out now!! Thanks
DeleteGreat ideas! I was going to use hose clamps to attach bud vases to chicken wire...but the twine looks even easier. My sister is going to love the lantern and I am ordering felt flowers...too lazy to make any myself!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they helped inspire you too! I just love that twine... it isn't every day that the least expensive solution provides the best look! And BTW- ordering felt flowers isn't lazy at all, it's just plain smart ;)
DeleteThese are such great ideas! The simplicity to them makes them even more appealing! Depending on how they turn out, I think they would make great, yet simple gift ideas!
