So, let's begin our little Salvage Savvy top 5 countdown, shall we!?
Thanks to Pinterest, my post entitled Monday (P)inspiration: Organization came in #5! I just love organizational ideas. Maybe someday I'll even get organized myself [but until then I'll just look at the pretty pictures and sigh...]
Post #4 is my Zebra Striped Foyer table. I just love this table because it walks the line between funky and sophisticated, but in a very subdued way [hey, much like me!].
Ok, so I'm going to be really honest and tell you that I kind of didn't even want to share Post #3, DIY Artwork. It's kind of like giving away Grandma's secret recipe... not sure why, but it's true! However, I'm glad I did and so many have enjoyed it!
I'm so thankful that I didn't pass up this super awful dresser at Goodwill, because it's brought me so much joy! Post #2 is my Vintage Dresser Makeover which is probably my favorite piece to date. I use it daily and just love how unique it is!
And now [drum roll please], 2011's #1 Post... My Overscale Hand-Antiqued Mirror. This has been another Pinterest favorite, and I am thrilled! It was a little project that I hatched in my brain and was able to make it happen, so I am especially proud of it.
And those are the most viewed posts of 2011. What was your favorite?

O.K, I have a favorite! Has to be the art work. So many fun steps that you can do and let your mind wander. And, everyone can get involved. My sons, (teenagers) love to help with designing something for our home -they get a kick out of it just like I do. :) Close 2nd? The mirror. Truth be told.... love them all.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you shared the DIY wall art! I did one for my living room and I LOOOOVE it. Also playing off your suggestions in the post, I had my (not crafty) husband help me paint the papers. It was so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the Mirror. It looks amazing, well done!
ReplyDeleteI missed the #5 post so this is the first time I see it. I loved the artwork (and thank you for sharing) and your zebra furniture is fabulous and so is the mirror....all are great - not easy to choose so I will not. Thank you for sharing all!
ReplyDeleteI love the mirror, it's really cool! I have a "mirror wall", a collection of antique mirrors! But I think you did such an amazing job on the vintage dresser--it is beautiful! What great imagination you have. Thanks for the tutorial! I have some old ugly stuff to redo too!
ReplyDeleteAll your projects were great!
New Year Blessings!
The mirror is my favourite! Thank you so much for sharing. I hope twenty twelve is everything you wish for and more. I am so glad I found you. I will follow on my way out so I can revisit. I hope you can find the time to come visit me and do the same. I look forward to engaging throughout the year. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
